By the time I turned 28, most of the women I had the strongest connections with in my family, no longer resided here on Earth with us. The loss of my mom and grandma instantly put into perspective for me how young 47 and 75 years old really are—and how many possibilities and future experiences vanished when they were gone.
It hasn’t been by design, but most of my clients either are moms or plan to be. Running their own businesses means they can be deeply present with their children, especially when they’re tiny. When reflecting on my childhood, it’s the day-to-day moments that continue to inspire me today. My ideal clients aren’t only moms, though. If you’ve found yourself building a business because you need work to adapt to you and your needs, we’re on the same journey. As a gal with chronic illness, I’ve worked hard to build a life that works with me, not against me.
Your bookkeeping is what supports your business’s ability to make and keep more money.

I felt at a loss after spending four years of studying (and money!!) on a degree for a career I wasn’t going to have. Wondering what I should do instead, I had an unexpected thought: “If I could just help small businesses like this grow, that would be the most fulfilling career I could imagine for myself.” There were a few detours between then and telling you this story now, but I am so grateful it all happened the way it did. Heathe is the culmination of my professional experience (education, contracting, operations, bookkeeping) and personal values (relationships, understanding, connection, creativity, and lifelong learning).
